This policy explains what personal information Shark Beauty collects when you visit or buy from our store, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Shark Beauty is a trade name of CAMERON RETAIL, 10301 W Reade Ave, Glendale, Arizona 85307, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at support@sharoffe.site.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order.
- Payment details, which are entered on our checkout and processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Anything you write to us by email, including photos you send about an order.
Information collected automatically:
- Device and browser type, operating system, language and time zone.
- IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Pages you visit, products you view, what you add to the cart, and how you arrived at our store.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.
3. How we use your information
- To process and ship your order, and to send you order confirmations and tracking.
- To answer your emails and handle returns, refunds and problems with an order.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive orders.
- To send marketing emails, when you have asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link at the bottom of any of our emails.
- To measure how our store and our advertising perform, and to improve both.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal basis (EU and UK customers)
- Performance of a contract: processing and delivering your order.
- Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, store security, and understanding how our store is used.
- Consent: marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: keeping records for tax and accounting.
5. Who we share your information with
We share only what is needed, with:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders on our behalf.
- Payment providers, such as Shopify Payments and PayPal, to take payment and check for fraud.
- Our suppliers and fulfilment partners, who receive your name and shipping address in order to pack and dispatch your order. Some are located outside your country, including in China.
- Carriers, who need your address and phone number to deliver and to issue tracking.
- Google and Meta, for advertising and traffic measurement, as described in section 6.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the store is used and measure our advertising. Essential cookies are needed for the store to function. Non-essential cookies are used only where you allow them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the store — including the cart and checkout — may stop working.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers and suppliers operate in several countries, including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep your information
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as we are legally required to, generally at least seven years for tax purposes. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for as long as they are useful for handling your case and any follow-up.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
To exercise any of these, email support@sharoffe.site. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense of the CCPA/CPRA. To make a request, email support@sharoffe.site.
11. Security
Our store runs over an encrypted connection, and payment data is handled by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and to limit who can access it.
12. Children
Our store is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our store or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced on this page.
